SATURDAY MAY 5
In Division One Bow AAC won 2-0 at the University on monday, Craig Harris and Lloyd Copp scoring, and will be runners up if they get a point from their last two matches. The Phoenix Club's top three hopes ended when held 3-3 by Witheridge. Rian Antat, Joe Taylor and Lee Hendy scored for Phoenix, Hendy also scored an own goal for Withy whose other goals came from Matt Smith and Steve Roach. Witheridge duly won 3-2 at Heavitree on monday with Anthony Vigus, Lee Radford and Ryan Greenwood scoring, and send Exeter Civil Service down instead.
Four clubs are still squabbling over the third promotion spot in Division 2 with Colyton applying the latest pressure with a 4-1 win against Honiton Town. Nathan Maddocks, Callum Somers and Mike Cullum scored for Colyton with Sam Farmer replying. Broadclyst are relegated after losing 5-2 at Uplowman. Scott Forster and Jimmy Frost scored for Broadclyst who could be folding up altogether after last nights match (wed) at Topsham, unless they can find a new secretary and manager.
Dolphin celebrated the Division 4 championship when they blitzed the University 5-0 with Ben Murby getting four goals. Scott Partington also scored, Bampton are spared the drop after they beat Lapford 3-2, with Conor Stone, Danny Coles and Jimmy Leigh scoring and because Countess Wear Dynamoes have been deducted four points for fielding a player under an assumed name ironically against Bampton recently.
SATURDAY APRIL 28 In Division One Culm United are safe from the drop after they won 2-1 at Sidbury United with Luke Jones and Adam Farmer strikes, but Sidbury remain in danger. In their last match Beacon Knights who are already down beat Cullompton 3-0 with Danny Holman 2 and Ashley May scoring. The University reached safety when they won 2-1 against Tipton, but the college could be relegated if their Premier side come down.
Tiverton Town celebrated the Division 2 championship with a 1-1 draw at Topsham Town who are in the driving seat for third place. Owen Howe was the Tivvy scorer, while third teamer Aaron Streat had the Tops goal. Chard Town are runners up after they crushed the University 7-1. Greg Channing 3, Gareth Fooks 2, Joe Carbin and Luke Finn were Chards scorers. Jack O'Dowd was the college marksman but they are in big danger of the drop. Honiton Town virtually ended Westexe Rovers hopes of promotion with a startling 8-3 victory, Sam Farmer leading the way with a hat-trick. Joe Dixon 2, Dan Broom 2 and Dave Richards also scored. Colyton still have an outside chance after winning 5-1 at Newtown who are relegated. Callum Somers 2, Oli Tollerfield, Nathan Maddocks and George Moore were Colytons scorers. Uplowman Athletic eased their plight when drawing 1-1 against Elmore with Lewis Manaton getting their goal. Ten man Pinhoe did well to keep the scoreline down at Halwill where they were beaten 5-0. Andy Wonnacott 2, Jason Winser, Tom Ogborne and Jack Crimmins scored for Halwill.
South Zeal beat Lympstone 7-1 in the only Third Division match played. Harley Cann shone with four goals the others coming from Redd Cann, Lee and Darren Gilbert.
Dolphin are top of Division 4 once again after a 7-0 win at the University. Ricky Carpenter 2, Ben Murby 2, Darren Pattinson, Liam Mallett and Ryan Harris scored for Dolphin who signed on 52 year old Andy Carpenter to field a full side. Third place Newton St Cyres scrambled a 4-4 draw against Whipton & Pinhoe after being 3-1 down at the break. Matt Yendall 2, Steve Heardson and Ashley Hudd scored Cyres goals. Seaton are safe from the drop after beating Crediton 1-0, Ben Ede scoring, while Kentisbeare lost their final match 3-2 against Okehampton. Carl Todd and Kevin Burt with his first goal in eight years scored for Kentisbeare.
SATURDAY APRIL 21 DIVISION 1 Bow AAC closed in on second place in Division 1 after beating Civil Service 3-0, Mark Leach, Lloyd Copp and Craig Skinner scoring, but Civil who have finished their season are still in relegation danger. Phoenix Club settled for a 3-3 draw at struggling Heavitree who were 3-1 up through Sam Haggar, Scot Jones and Chris Dunn, before Daniel Carpenter, Lee Hendy and Dave Brown earned Phoenix their point. Tipton hopes dimmed again when held 1-1 at endangered Chagford whose Joe Whatley scored. Jody Freeman was Tiptons marksman. Wellington ended Cullomptons chances winning 2-0 with Connor Bryant getting both goals. Sidbury and Witheridge shared a vital 2-2 draw, Pete Grover and Ben Woolley scoring for Sidbury, Matt Smith and Lee Radford for Withy. Premier bound Exmouth Amateurs lost their final match 1-0 at relegated Beacon Knights whose Tom Burridge scored.
DIVISION 2 Topsham Towns 1-0 victory at Honiton keeps them in line for promotion from Division 2, Luke Nichols their matchwinner, and they stay just behind Sidmouth who beat Colyton 3-2. Callum Hoare and Oli Tollerfield scored for Colyton who had two players sent off. Westexe promotion hopes dived after they were held 2-2 by Uplowman whose Jordan Copp scored both goals. Rovers keeper Simon Tolly was sent off. Newtown are a point away from relegation after losing 4-1 at champions Tiverton, and Clyst Valley remain in danger after crashing 5-1 to Pinhoe who are virtually safe. Lee Williams with a hat-trick, Micheal Ripping and Dean Voaden were the pins scorers, John Williams was man of the match.
DIVISIION 3 Upottery hoping to get fourth place in Division 4 lashed Winkleigh 7-2 with Chas Lane getting a hat-trick. Cat Pislaru 2, Sam Winslade and Olly Rice also scored. Champions Bickleigh drew 1-1 at Sandford in their final game, Brad Newberry scoring, while Tedburn St Mary ended their campaign winning 3-0 at Offwell with goals from Simon Durrant, Chris Heardson and a Lee Moore penalty
DIVISION 4 Fourth Division leaders Dolphin depleted by injuries suffered a surprise 2-1 defeat to Thorverton who could now nick the title from them. Jimmy Lee-Shaw had Dolphin ahead but the thors hit back through Liam Vanstone and Sean Window. Newton St Cyres took over third place with a 3-0 victory at Kentisbeare, because Hemyock endured a 3-1 defeat at Bampton who are trying to avoid the drop. Liam Ayre, Connor Stone and Ryan Cottrell scored the ponies goals. Lapford in last place managed a 2-2 draw at Exmouth Amateurs.
SATURDAY 14 APRIL Exmouth Amateurs are Division One champions after coming from a goal down to beat their closest rivals Feniton 2-1. Feniton manager Mark Kingdon gave his side hope with a great goal, but Paul Rowsell and Craig Higham struck back for Amateurs to clinch victory and almost a certain return to the top flight. Bow moved into third place after their 5-0 win at Sidbury. Nick Mingo, Lloyd Copp, Dean Jones, Craig Skinner and an own goal did the job for Bow. Tipton St John remain on the edge after their 1-0 win against Cullompton, Glen Salter scoring, but Beacon Knights look certain to be relegated after their 5-1 loss to Wellington. Chagford and Culm still in danger shared a 4-4 draw.
Greg Channing scored twice as Chard Town endorsed second place in Division Two with a 4-0 victory at Uplowman, but they face tough rivalry. Darren Stewart and an own goal completed Chards victory. Sidmouth remain in touch after beating Newtown 3-1, Kevin Dorman scoring twice adding to an own goal, as are Honiton after they won 3-2 at Halwill with Sam Farmer, Dan Broom and an own goal getting them home. Rob Holland and Fraser House scored for Halwill. Elmore won 3-1 at Broadclyst with Dom Perrott 2 and Rhys Parsons scoring, Jake Ranger notched the visitors goal, and Westexe won 3-0 at Colyton and both clubs could yet claim a promotion slot.
Bickleigh are Third Division champions after their winner takes all victory at Dawlish United 1-0. Kieran Rapo was the matchwinner following a brilliant move, but Dawlish who were generous in their applause for Bickleigh are compensated as runners up. Colaton Raleigh finish third and ended the season with a 1-1 draw at Offwell Rangers. Sandford beat a depleted Lympstone 9-1 with Charlie Parkhouse and Yan Frampton getting hat-tricks. Andy Uren 2 and Sean Hawkins also scored. Upottery chasing fourth place won 3-0 against Winkleigh with Cat Pislaru, Garry Moore and Olly Rice scoring.
In Division 4 Dolphin are promoted without kicking a ball. The Dolphins were handed a lift by Whipton & Pinhoe after they beat Hemyock 3-2. Ollie Youell, Karl Greenham and Juston Dymond had the whips goals. Bampton edged nearer the drop after losing 2-1 to Countess Wear, Matt Leach had the ponies goal, and Lapford are in the same plight after a crushing 7-2 defeat against Crediton. Relegation would mean a return to Intermediate soccer after many years for Lapford. Okehampton won a thriller against Seaton 4-3 with Brad Ausden 2, Dan Leahy and John Cokley scoring.
EASTER MONDAY APRIL 9 Witheridge and Sidbury drew 1-1 in their Division 1 relegation tussle, Neil Wilkinsons goal wiped off by Sidburys Luke Hardy. Uplowman Athletic are off the basement rung in Division 2 after beating Halwill 4-1, Jordan Copp netted twice, Kevin Mills and Ricky Baker adding to the score. Bampton slipped closer to relegation from Division 4 after losing 2-1 at home to Okehampton. Dan Coles was the ponies scorer. Hemyock won 1-0 against struggling Lapford with Alex Baird again their matchwinner.
SATURDAY APRIL 7
After beating Chagford 2-0 with a Tim Wright double, Exmouth Amateurs will become Division One champions if they get a draw at Feniton on saturday. Second place Feniton slipped to a disappointing 4-2 defeat at Wellington. Paul Dowling and Ben Allen scoring Fennys goals. Wellington goals were Nathan Thomas, Jamie Fleet, Simon Morton and an own goal. Phoenix Club kept their challenge alive beating Tipton 4-0 with Ashley Commins, James Fanson, Matt Finn and Johnny Holding scoring, but the big threat comes from Bow after their 2-0 win against Culm with Dean Jones and Craig Harris goals. A Jason Manley hat-trick eased Witheridge relegation fears in their 4-0 win at Cullompton. Lee Radford also scored. Civil Service are safe after beating Beacon Knights 4-2, Harry Taylor 2, Sam Stewart and Steve May scoring. Jack Greenslade and Tom Burgess replied but the Knights are one defeat away from the drop.
Topsham making a late bid for promotion from Division Two won 3-0 at Halwill with Dale Joy, Ian Curran and Nick Bartlett goals. Sidmouths Tom Perryman smashed four goals in their 5-3 win at Newtown. Kev Dorman also scored with Paul Jackson 2 and Scott Bastowe replying. Chard beat Uplowman 3-1, Greg Channing scoring twice, Jordan Copp was Uplowmans marksman. Pinhoe held Westexe 2-2 Daniels and Kevin Webb scoring, with Gavin Richards and Tom Keaton replying.
Elmore scored three goals in the last ten minutes to beat Honiton 3-2. Dan Broom and Darren Witt had Honiton ahead before Dom Perrott 2 and Adam Findon struck for the eagles. Colyton beat Broadclyst 3-1 after being a goal down, Callum Somers 2 and Mike Gould scoring. Danny Wills was the Broadclyst scorer.
Colaton Raleigh made sure of promotion from Division Three after a 4-3 victory at Tedburn whose Aaron Baitup, Lee Goode and Lee Moore saw them 3-2 ahead with seven minutes remaining. Dawlish United stay top after their 2-1 win at Sandford with Jonny Emery and Lance Clarke goals, but Bickleigh with a match in hand won 3-1 at Upottery with Kieran Rapo, Bradley Newberry and Luke Passmore scoring. Jack Reed was Upotterys marksman. Harley Cann and Tom Reilly were the South Zeal scorers in a 2-1 win against Offwell.
Hemyocks 3-1 win at Lapford means Division 4 leaders Dolphin are still waiting to consolidate promotion. Josh Williams was the Lapford scorer. Thorverton edged nearer to promotion after a 1-0 win against Bampton, Liam Vanstone scoring the only goal. Newton St Cyres also chase a top three slot after their 2-1 victory against Okehampton. Both Cyres goals were Rob Parsley headers. |

SATURDAY 31ST
DIVISION 1 FENITON took a massive stride towards promotion from Division One after beating their closest rivals PHOENIX CLUB 3-0. All the goals came in the second half with Charlie Selley 2 and Ben Allen scoring. TIPTON ST JOHN stay in touch thanks to a 1-0 win at CULLOMPTON 2NDS with Ash Small getting their goal. Cup stars BOW AAC beat HEAVITREE 2NDS 3-1 with Dean Jones and Gavin Coles scoring, and Bow are still aiming at a top three finish. SIDBURY UNITED took a big leap to safety as they beat CIVIL SERVICE 2NDS 3-1, but BEACON KNIGHTS sank further into trouble after dominating against the UNIVERSITY 3RDS but conceding in the last few minutes to lose 1-0.
DIVISION 2 CHARD TOWN 2NDS hopes of catching Division 2 leaders Tiverton took a big dip as they went down 1-0 at CLYST VALLEY 2NDS. However rivals WESTEXE ROVERS also lost 2-1 against town neighbours ELMORE 2NDS. Dom Perrott and Matt Snell scored for the eagles with Josh Dryhurst getting the Rovers return, and SIDMOUTH TOWN 2NDS won 1-0 at the UNIVERSITY 4THS with Kevin Dorman getting the only goal. HONITON TOWN maintained their great form beating NEWTOWN 2NDS 2-1 but claimed they were lucky. Sam Farmer and Dan Broom scored for Honiton, John Smith for Newtown. COLYTON still with a mass of fixtures to play floored HALWILL 5-0 with Callum Somers netting a hat-trick. Nathan Maddocks and Mike Gould also scored. UPLOWMAN ATHLETIC and TOPSHAM 2NDS drew 0-0.
DIVISION 3 COLATON RALEIGH beat SOUTH ZEAL 3-2 but must wait for another victory to clinch promotion from Division Three. Colaton needed UPOTTERY to lose at SANDFORD, but the East Devon side triumphed 5-1 with Sam Winslade 2, Cat Pislaru, Chas Lane and Stuart Coombe scoring. WINKLEIGH were 4-1 winners at TEDBURN ST MARY whose Simon Durrant scored their only goal.
DIVISION 4 Leaders DOLPHIN were back to winning ways in Division Four as they pounded KENTISBEARE 7-2, with seven different players getting in on the scoring. HEMYOCK stunned second place EXMOUTH AMATEURS 2-1 with Alex Baird snatching both goals. Luke Monkley hammered all five goals for bottom of the table LAPFORD in their 5-2 win against the UNIVERSITY 5THS. THORVERTON 2NDS won 3-0 against SEATON 2NDS with Russell Moore, Tristan Davies and Adrian Andrews getting their goals.
SATURDAY MARCH 24
Clyst Valley beat the Phoenix Club 1-0 and will now face Bow AAC in the East Devon Senior cup final after the mid Devon side came from behind to beat Tipton 3-1. Luke Skinner was the Valley scorer, while Craig Harris, Mike Broom and Kieran Stone earned Bow their second major final place. Colyton had to dig deep to beat Newton St Cyres 3-2 in the Bill Slee cup semi final, two goal Marc Potter and Callum Somers scored, while in the other semi Upottery won 4-1 at Whipton & Pinhoe.
Exmouth Amateurs will be back in the Premier division next season after securing a third place slot with a 2-1 victory over Witheridge. Craig Higham and Mitchell Cudd scored to earn the Ammies their 15th win of the season by a single goal, and they can now fill in their application form to endorse promotion from Division One. Feniton took a big step towards the same goal as they sent Culm packing 3-0, Elliot Dyer, Paul Dowling and Charlie Selley scoring. Sidbury edged away from danger with a 2-1 victory over Cullompton, as did the University with their 2-0 win at Heavitree.
Tiverton Town stay ten points clear in Division 2 after their 2-1 win at Clyst Valley, Owen and Jesse How scoring, while rivals Chard Town beat Broadclyst 3-0 with Greg Channing scoring twice, and Craig Every once.. A last minute Lee Worbey goal gave Westexe a 3-2 win over Halwill Gav Richards and Tom Keaton also scoring, and the University scored twice in the last three minutes to beat Elmore 3-2. Dan Whittington, Ben Palmer and Tom Jones were the college scorers. Luke Nichols 2 and Dan Gill had Topshams goals in their 3-0 win against Newtown, and Kevin Mills and Jordan Copp netted Uplowmans goals in their much needed 2-1 victory against Pinhoe.
Third Division leaders Dawlish United are promoted after hammering North Tawton 7-0, Ashley Donohue and Ben Smith getting hat-tricks and Mtt Hodgson completing their tally. Bickleigh are also up after they won 6-0 at Offwell. Adam Westbrook 2, Andy Murphy 2, Brad Newberry and Sam Ruskin scored.
Fourth Division leaders Dolphin were checked by a 3-3 draw against battling Countess Wear whose Aaron Libretto netted a hat-trick. Dave Clarke scored a brace for Seaton in their 6-0 victory against Bampton with Tom Vincent, Charlie Cross and Jack Lamb-Wilson also among the goals. Liam Vanstone had both goals for Thorverton in their top of the table clash with Exmouth Amateurs which they won 2-0, and Matt Reed and Chris Roper were Kentisbeares scorers in their 2-1 win against Hemyock.
SATURDAY MARCH 17
Feniton took a massive step towards promotion from Division One after beating a lacklustre Tipton St John 4-0. Mark Kingdon, Charlie Selley, Rob Pfeiffer and Elliot Dyer scored. Rivals Bow AAC beat the University 3-1, Nick Mingo, Kieran Stone and Gavin Coles scoring. Beacon Knights, bidding for safety, shattered Civil Service 9-2 with Duncan Holman scoring twice. There were two own goals and singles from Tom Burridge, George Burningham, Matt Board, Nick Draper and Jack Greenslade. Wellington drew 2-2 with Witheridge a Jason Manley penalty and an own goal earning Withy a point. Strugglers Chagford and Sidbury shared a goalless draw.
Elmore cannot stop winning in Division Two and goals from Dom and Ashley Perrott served to beat Newtown 2-0. Second place Chard despatched Westexe 5-1 with Greg Channing getting a hat-trick. Andy Fairburn and Robbie Miller goals gave Clyst Valley a 2-1 win against Topsham and Colyton followed suit at Broadclyst after Jimmy Frost gave the home side a first half lead. Tim Genders goal proved decisive for Honiton as they edged Halwill 1-0. Pinhoe won 3-0 against the University with Jamie McWilliams, Dean Voaden and Lewis Minto scoring.
Two goal Bradley Newbery and a Jake Pancherz scorcher kept Bickleigh ahead of the Division Three pack as they beat Upottery 3-1. Chas Lane replied. Dawlish United settled for a 1-0 win against Lympstone, John Emery scoring, but South Zeals challenge was ruptured by a 1-0 defeat against Sandford. Axminster are relegated after crashing 6-1 at Offwell whose Craig Sluman 2, Andrew Lord, Liam Spiller, Jamie Doitch and Matt Clavier-Smith scored. Chris Jordan 2, Sam Burton, Jason Parker and Andy Hooper scored for Winkleigh who beat neighbours North Tawton 5-0.
Exmouth Amateurs won the top of the table clash against Division 4 leaders Dolphin 2-0, but the Dolphins still sport a healthy lead. Kentisbeare rocked the University 4-2 Chris Beddow 2, Richard Cox, and Keith Sparks scoring. Thorverton won 2-1 at Lapford, Adrian Andrews and John Nott scoring, Ed Quick replied. An Ashley Hudd penalty gave Newton SC a 1-0 win at Bampton, and Andy Brooks and Alex Baird scored for Hemyock as they beat Crediton 2-1. Seaton and Okehampton drew 3-3, Jake Richards, Bill Yeoman and Jacob Hayes holing out for Seaton, and it finished 2-2 between Whipton/Pinhoe and Countess Wear. Paul Watkins had both Dynamoes goals and Isaac Furness and Carl Greenham scoring for the whips.

Tipton St John had their Division One promotion hopes diluted by a 2-0 defeat at Civil Service where Steve Morrish and a Jason Jordan penalty proved decisive. Feniton went second after winning 6-2 at Beacon Knights whose Jack Greenslade and Dan Holman scored. A Charlie Selley hat-trick, Alex Frankpitt, Ben Allen and Andy Hawkins were the Fenny scorers. Phoenix Club were held 2-2 by Cullompton whose James Parker and Matt Scott scored. Ashley Commins and Rian Antat had the home goals. Jason Ronchetti and Chris Dunn scored for Heavitree in the 2-0 win against Culm United, and Sidbury welcomed a 3-1 win against the University with Pete Grover 2 and Aston Puckey on target. Wellington won 3-2 at Chagford with Adam Dawe, James Garrad and Sam Bryant scoring. Andrew Davis and Adam Pidgeon replied.
Division Two leaders Tiverton Town were 4-2 winners at Colyton with Jesse Howe 2, Lewis Plackett and Liam Pike scoring. Chard Town were held 1-1 by Halwill in a cracker. Ryan Edworthy scored for Halwill, Dan Aplin replying, and Westexe were held 1-1 by Pinhoe whose Dean Voaden scored. Sidmouth overran Clyst Valley 6-2 with Kev Dorman 2, Tim Lister, Mark Burdus, Anthony Griffiths and Tom Perryman scoring. Manager Mark Baitup and Ed Hammond scored for Clyst. Two Justin Yelsali goals rescued a 2-1 win for Broadclyst at Newtown where they had fallen behind to an Adam Kane goal. Tai Fisher had both Topsham goals in their 2-1 win against the University. Elmore's great run continued with a 2-0 win at Honiton, Dom and Ashley Perrott scoring.
Dawlish United jumped into top place in Division Three after a 3-3 draw at Offwell. United were three down and had a player sent off but recovered from Ben Smith, John Emery and Chris Yelland strikes. Adrian Parr and Jake Boyland both scored twice for Colaton Raleigh as they blew Sandford away 5-0. Mark Tett added the fifth. South Zeal were held 4-4 by North Tawton after leading four times through Harley Cann 2, Darren Gilbert and Dan Wakeham. Jake Ayris, Rob Board, Keith Steward and an own goal rescued Tawton. Upottery won 6-4 at Tedburn, Chas Lane 2, Cat Pislaru, Harry Gamidge, Jack Reed and Sam Winslade scoring. Chris Heardson 2, Simon Durrant and Sam Reeve replied. Lee Friend gave Winkleigh the lead against Lympstone but the visitors recovered to win 4-1 with substitute Jamie Alford scoring twice after Mark Dunne and Andy Lowe goals.

Thorverton also won 3-1 with Adrian Andrews, Ash Dawes and Alex Twitchen scoring. The University were held 2-2 by Okehampton whose Steve Kinsey had both goals. Whipton & Pinhoe came from two down to beat Bampton 3-2. Rupert Harvey and Liam Ayres scored for the ponies, Isaac Furness, Oliver Youel and Lewis Cann for the whips. Alex Baird had both Hemyock goals in their 2-0 win against Kentisbeare.
SATURDAY MARCH 3
Much travelled veteran Jon Veale crashed home a 25 yard free kick to earn Division One leaders Exmouth Amateurs a 1-0 win at Witheridge, and two wins from their last four matches would clinch promotion. Challengers Phoenix also won 1-0, Daniel Armstrong scoring, and Feniton beat the University 2-0 with an Alex Frankpitt double in the first ten minutes. Tipton dug deep to better Beacon Knights 3-2. Knights led twice from Adam May and Matt Board, but Ash Small, Lee Strawbridge and Glen Salter replied for Tipton. Bow won 3-0 at Civil Service, Gavin Coles 2 and Louis Kinch scoring, and Wellington beat Chagford 3-0, Nathan Thomas, Joe Enticott and Sam Bryant scoring.
Division Two leaders Tiverton suffered a 1-0 home defeat to Halwill whose Andy Wonnacott scored, giving Chard who won 1-0 at Topsham and play Tivvy this week, renewed hope. Craig Emery was Chards scorer. Westexe won 4-2 at the University Shane Mears 2, Gav Richards and Jamie Davey scoring. Harry Coombe and Dan Whittington replied. Sidmouth beat a depleted Broadclyst 5-1, Mark and Craig Badcock, Mark Burdus, Tom Perryman and Alex Moore scoring. Lee Dunn had the home goal. Dawlish United went joint top of Division Three after their 2-0 victory against Winkleigh, John Emery had both goals. Colaton Raleigh beat Tedburn 5-1 with Adrian Parr 2, Tony Cox, Mark Pavey and Rikki Pitter scoring. Teds goal was a Chris Heardson penalty. Upottery stay in the frame after crushing Axminster 8-1, Cat Pislaru getting four goals and Charlie Lane netting twice.
Dolphin are closing in on promotion from Division Four after a 4-0 win at Hemyock. Darren Pattinson 2, Ben Murby and Ricki Carpenter scoring. Newton St Cyres also won 4-0 against Bampton, Dan Brown, Ryan Guppy, Ashley Hudd and debutant Steve Goss scoring. Countess Wear lost 2-1 to Exmouth Amateurs despite leading through Aaron Libretto. Justin Dymond and an own goal failed to help Whipton/Pinhoe as they slipped 4-2 to the University, and Ed Quicks goal was not enough for Lapford beaten 3-1 by Okehampton. Exmouth Amateurs 2-1 victory against Civil Service took them 19 points clear of their Division One rivals. Mitchell Cudd scored both Ammies goals. Phoenix Club regained second place with a 5-3 victory at troubled Sidbury. Ashley Cummings 2, Ashley Bailey, Rian Antat and new signing Richard Gilbert scored. Dan Churchill 2 and Aston Puckey replied for Sidbury. Feniton were held 2-2 at Chagford whose Andrew Davis saved the day with a penalty. Charlie Selley had both Feniton goals after Jake Rowe's opener. Tipton and Bow drew 1-1, Ash Small scoring for the home side, and it finished 3-3 between the University and Witheridge, Ryan Greenwood, Alex Shepherd and Matt Smith scoring for Withy. Beacon Knights beat Heavitree 3-1 from a goal down, James Rothery, Jack Greenslade and Dan Holman scoring. Scott Jones was the Heavies scorer. Adam Pengelly and Luke Jones gave Culm a two goal lead against Cullompton, but Rangers recovered to win 3-2.
Tiverton Town resumed their winning ways as Division Two leaders beating Sidmouth 2-0 with Owen Howe and Jesse Howe converting. Westexe are back in contention after their 1-0 win against the University, Jimmy Moore scoring. Elmore rocked Pinhoe 6-2, Matt Salter 3, Rhys Parsons 2 and Chris Tolly scoring. Dean Voaden and Kevin Webb replied for the pins. Joe Dixon, Paul Blackmore and Tim Genders shared Honitons goals in a 3-1 win against Uplowman whose Bryan Gale responded. Luke Potter scored twice for Halwill 3-0 winners against Colyton, while Clyst Valley and Newtown shared a dire 0-0 draw.
Division Three pacemakers Bickleigh moved three points clear after a 5-1 win at Winkleigh, but rivals Colaton Raleigh were pipped 1-0 at the post by Upottery whose Cat Pislaru scored. Axminster Town finally have a victory winning 2-1 at Tedburn whose Aaron Baitup was their only scorer.

Thorverton fared badly losing 2-1 to Kentisbeare whose Dean Walkiv and Chris Roper scored. John Bailey converted a penalty for the thors. Crediton won 4-2 at Whipton/Pinhoe whose Steve Blatchford had both goals. Hemyock beat Seaton 4-3, Alex Baird 2, George Banfield and Jake Phillips the home scorers. Dave Clark, Ben Morgan and Bill Yeoman scored for Seaton.

BOW AAC are through to the semi finals of the Firewatch Devon Senior cup for the second successive year after a stunning 4-3 win against the WREY ARMS from Barnstaple. Bow were behind three times but won it with two goals in the last ten minutes Nick Mingo getting the decider, having also scored the first. UPLOWMAN ATHLETIC are also in the last four after a brilliant 3-2 win at CULLOMPTON. Jordan Copp, Kevin Mills and Darren Pearce had the Uplowman goals.
Exmouth Amateurs ticked off another Division One title rival as they edged Phoenix Club 1-0. Dave Green scored the only goal. Feniton are second after despatching Wellington 4-0. Paul Dowling, Andy Carnell, Charlie Selley and Ben Allen scoring and Tipton kept up their chase beating Witheridge 5-0. Neil Gooding, Danny Green, Adam Carpenter, Adam Connett, and Adrian Smal;l shared the goals. Culm United won 4-1 against the University who had two players red-carded. Paul Harris, Gary Heathcote, Darryl Berner and Danny Brewer were Culms marksmen, Brad Miles replied. Civil Service whipped Sidbury 6-3, Ashley Mcdermid 2, Jason Jordan 2 pens, Declan Vowden and Ollie Bird scoring. Sam Elstub, Dan Churchill and Aston Puckey replied. Andrew Davis, Adam Pidgeon and Christian Crowther-Smith scored Chagfords goals in their 3-0 win against Heavitree.
Honiton Town wrecked Division Two leaders Tiverton Town unbeaten record when Paul Blackmore smashed a late winner for a 3-2 success. Tim Genders had the first two Honiton goals. Chard Town beat promotion rivals Sidmouth 2-1, but Pinhoe hopes were hit by a 2-1 defeat at Elmore whose Callum Old scored both goals. Topsham thumped Broadclyst 4-0, Dan Gill, Aaron Beecroft, Nick Bartlett and John Parkes on debut scoring. Clyst Valley shocked Westexe 4-1 James Twitchen 2, Andy Fairburn and Dave Fox scoring. Colyton were 5-2 winners at the University thanks to a Callum Somers hat-trick and two goal George Moore. Adrian Selway and an og earned Newtown a 2-2 draw with Halwill whose Phil and Andy Wonnacott scored.
Axminster finally ended their 16 match losing streak in Division Three with a 1-1 draw against Tedburn. Paul Dudley was the tigers scorer. Joint leaders Bickleigh and Dawlish shared a cracking 1-1 draw, Adam Westbrooks penalty for Bickleigh wiped off by Ashley Donohue's screamer. Dawlish had a man sent off before equalising. Colaton Raleigh won a thriller 4-3 at Lympstone with Adrian Parr 2, Mark Pavey and Rikki Pitter goals. Lympets goals were Mike Alford, James Beverly and Jack Greenslade. Harley Cann and Redd Cann both struck twice as South Zeal won 4-0 at Offwell, a scoreline repeated by Upottery at North Tawton with Cat Pislaru bagging a hat-trick.
Division Four leaders Dolphin avenged last weeks defeat at Okehampton with a 3-1 win. Shane Luxton, Scott Partington and Ben Murby had the goals. Thorverton surprised Newton SC 4-1 with Alex Twitchin 2, Ben Lyne and Jon Bailey scoring. Rob Parsley replied with a penalty. Aaron Land and Jamie Clow scored for Countess Wear, 2-1 winners against Crediton, and Exmouth Amateurs also won 2-1 at Bampton with the last kick of the game. James Lee was the ponies scorer. Steve Blatchford was the Whipton/Pinhoe scorer in their 1-1 draw at the University.

Division One leaders Exmouth Amateurs won their 12th match of the season by a single goal, 2-1 away to Culm United, but they had to hang on at the end. Two Tim Wright goals including a penalty won it for the Ammies. Paul Orchard converted a late penalty for a battling Culm. Among the chasers Bow AAC beat Sidbury 3-0 with Louie Kinch, Nick Mingo and Gavin Coles scoring, and Cullompton stepped up their challenge with an 8-1 romp against Civil Service. Richard Pears 3, Aiden Moyle 2, Matt Scott, Danny Bernard and Danny Grabham with his first ever goal scored for Rangers. After having two players sent off Westexe Rovers still scored twice to lead Broadclyst in their Division 2 encounter, but the game ended 2-2. Jake Ranger and Danny Wills injury time strike saved Broadclyst. A Pete Eveleigh own goal and Gavin Richards scored Rovers pair. Sidmouth beat Elmore 4-2 in a lively contest with Kevin Dorman 2 (including a penalty, Tom Perryman and Craig Badcock scoring, but Honiton tripped up 3-2 against the University despite a brace of goals from Tim Genders. A 92nd minute winner from Russell Pickford took Bickleigh top of Division 3 on goal difference. Bickleigh beat a shattered Tedburn 1-0. Colaton Raleigh took North Tawton apart 7-1 with Connor McCallum 2, Riki Pitter, Damien Armes, Jake Boyland, Mark Tett and Ben Farrington sharing the feast. Jake Ayris replied for the visitors. Harley Cann slammed four goals for South Zeal as they won 7-3 at Axminster. Darren Gilbert 2 and Red Cann also scored. Peter Knox had all three tigers goals. Division 4 leaders Dolphin were gunned down 3-2 at Okehampton whose Bradley Ausden netted twice and Corey Burns once. Kentisbeare manager Dave Burt feels his side are sliding into trouble after losing 4-3 to the University. Chris Beddows 2 and Chris Roper netted the kents goals.

Division One leaders EXMOUTH AMATEURS almost have one foot in Premier after their crushing 6-0 win at SIDBURY UNITED. Craig Higham and Matt Cousins both scored doubles. Disillusioned FENITON and the PHOENIX CLUB still reeling from a four points deduction, had another miserable day. Fenny had to settle for a goalless draw at CULLOMPTON RANGERS, while Phoenix were shocked 2-1 at the UNIVERSITY. However rivals TIPTON called off their game and BOW AAC had to settle for a 1-1 draw at CULM UNITED whose Paul Orchard was their scorer. Eubio do Rosario netted a hat-trick for WELLINGTON TOWN in a 5-1 romp against EXETER CIVIL SERVICE. The bottom pair CHAGFORD and BEACON KNIGHTS drew 3-3, Robbie Miller, Adam Pidgeon and Andrew Davis getting the moormens goals
There was a big shock in Division Two where second from top CHARD TOWN crashed 5-3 at home to the bottom team ELMORE. Joe Carbin one of the Chard scorers missed a penalty when his side trailed 4-3. The eagles goals came from Ashley Perrott 2, Dom Perrott, Callum Old and Matt Snell. Leaders TIVERTON saw off COLYTON 4-0 with Jesse Howe getting a hat-trick, and Tom Tricker also scoring. Danny Minto scored twice for PINHOE 3-1 winners at the UNIVERSITY, while Tom Perrymans goal for SIDMOUTH TOWN was not quite enough to stop HONITON TOWN getting a point when they equalised through Mark Bowles.
In Division Three Bickleigh won 4-1 at North Tawton to strengthen their promotion claim. Matt Atkins 2, Russ Pickford and Aaron Rapo scored. Paul Burrows converted a penalty for Tawton. Colaton Raleigh and Upottery drew 2-2, Adrian Parr and Mark Tett goals cancelled out by Matt Button-Stevens and Cat Pislaru for Upottery. Simon Durrant was the Tedburn match-winner in their 1-0 success against Offwell. Axminster were seconds away from their first point but lost 4-3 to Sandford. Adam Pearse, Mark Vaughan and Paul Dudley scored for the tigers.
Fourth division leaders Dolphin were awarded two penalties in the first three minutes against Seaton but then had to dig deep to win 4-2. Darren Pattinson 2, Scott Partington, and Matthew Lyne-ley were Dolphins scorers. Ten man Seaton replied from Niall Jefford and Brandon Bryant. Ryan Spring and Ben Bennett were Exmouth Amateurs scorers in their 2-0 victory over Whipton/Pinhoe, and Alex Baird and Josh Essex scored for Hemyock who beat Okehampton 2-0. Bampton enjoyed a 3-2 win at Countess Wear whose two goals came from Ricky Pearse.

EXMOUTH AMATUERS took a big grip on Division One after beating their closest rivals FENITON 2-1. Dave Green and Craig Higham scored for the Warren View side. Alex Frankpitt netted a penalty in reply. The PHOENIX CLUB regained second place after winning 4-1 at EXETER CIVIL SERVICE who had three players sent off.Ashley Bailey 2, Rian Antat and James Fanson had the Phoenix goals. * Both Feniton and Phonix have been docked four points. Bottom of the bale BEACON KNIGHTS beat CULM UNITED 2-1 after going a goal down. James Rothery and Mike Woolnough netted for the Knights. Phil Farrah was the Culm scorer. ELMORE who are bottom of Division Two celebrated a rare win 3-1 against HALWILL. Dom Perrott 2 and Matt Snell scored with Jason Winser getting the Halwill goal from a penalty save.
With leaders Tiverton not playing, CHARD TOWN missed a good chance to close in when were held 0-0 by a battling HONITON TOWN, and it also finished 0-0 between TOPSHAM TOWN and SIDMOUTH TOWN. BROADCLYST ddrew 2-2 with CLYST VALLEY Justin Yelsali and Jake Ranger on target. Carl Davey and Jason Pryse had the Valley goals.
Division Three leaders DAWLISH UNITED beat COLATON RALIGHT 3-2, but the visitors had a goal disallowed although the ball seemed to hit the back stanchion. Kris Yelland, Ben Smith and Lance Clarke scored for Dawlish. Adrian Parr and Jake Boyland replied. Doubles from Cat Pislaru and Charlie Lane gave UPOTTERY a 4-3 win at LYMPSTONE whose Jack Greenslade scored twice. Ryan Cartlidge, Shane Tucker and Nigel Harris goals earned SANDFORD a 3-2 win against neighbours TEDBURN ST MARY. Jake Ayries, Rob Board, Tony Fisher and Daniel Cornwall were the scorers for NORTH TAWTON in 4-1 win at AXMINSTER. James Knott and Dan Whittington scored for the UNIVERSITY as they beat UPLOWMAN 2-0.
Ashley Dart and Ben Murby scored for Division 4 leaders Dolphin in 2-0 win against a battling Bampton. Steve Blatchford 2, Dexter Booth and Daniel Seaton had the Whipton/Pinhoe goals in their 4-1 win against Kentisbeare. Matt Reed replied. Jake Richards was the matchwinner for Seaton 1-0 against Lapford. Countess Wear Dynamoes never recovered from conceding three first half goals against Okehampton and lost 3-0. Paul Watkins had a really good match.

1-0 to the Ammies is the anthem at Exmouths Warren View as the Division One leaders recorded a treble of single goal victories. Their latest came against Cullompton, Richard Higham scoring. Feniton won the battle for second place 2-0 against Phoenix Club, Paul Dowling scored both goals but was later advised he had broken his leg. Rivals Tipton slipped to a 1-0 defeat by Wellington, but Bow picked up their challenge with a 3-0 win against Beacon Knights. Gavin Coles, Alex Bowden and Alex Simpson scoring. An Adam Jason-Ryan hat-trick led for Civil Service in their 5-1 win against the University, Ashley McDermid and Declan Vowden adding singles. Lee Radford 2, Neil Wilkinson and Martin Loader earned Witheridge a 4-3 win against Culm. Heavitree suffered a 2-1 defeat to managerless Sidbury. Lee Channing was the Heavies scorer.

Ross Brealy was the match-winner for Fourth Division Newton St Cyres in their 1-0 victory over Seaton. Gary Stagg and Sean Waring doubles helped Crediton draw 4-4 at the University. Whipton/Pinhoe were held 1-1 by Exmouth Amateurs, Clay Grimes scoring, and it finished 1-1 between Kentisbeare and Countess Wear, Arge Hugo scoring for Kents. Thorverton won 4-1 at Bampton whose Dan Loftus scored.

Both Firewatch Devon Senior ties between ELMORE v PLYMOUTH UNIVERSITY, and WREY ARMS v OKEHAMPTON were postponed and will be rescheduled for next saturday.
EXMOUTH AMATEURS beat Division One promotion rivals BOW AAC 1-0 with a Mitchell Cudd goal, while two of their their nearest challengers TIPTON ST JOHN and the PHOENIX CLUB battled out a 2-2 draw. Adam Connett and Haydn Banfield scored for Saints. Ryan Smith and Rian Antat had the Phoenix goals. FENITON had to work hard for a 4-2 win against WITHERIDGE who hit back from John Dawe and Tom ONeill having bee two down. A Paul Dowling hat-trick and Andy Hawkins won it for Feniton. EXETER CIVIL SERVICE surprised WELLINGTON 3-2 having trailed 2-0. Ashley McDermid 2 and Adam Jason with a penalty scored Civils goals. Steve King, Phil Farrah and Adam Farmer were the CULM UNITED scorers in a 3-1 win against CHAGFORD. Bottom of the table BEACON KNIGHTS celebrated just their second win 3-1 against SIDBURY UNITED. Tom Burridge, James Rothey and Chris Pillinger scored a goal each. The UNIVERSITY and HEAVITREE SOCIAL UNITED drew 1-1, Leigh Atkins getting a chekky back heeler for the Heavitree goal.

Kevin Mills and Jordan Copp both notched hat-tricks for UPLOWMAN in their 7-1 win at the UNIVERSITY. Lewis Heaver grabbed a brace for TOPSHAM TOWN in a 5-1 victory against PINHOE. Mike Williams, Justin Yelsali, Jimmy Frost, Pete Eveleigh and Harry Drew scored for Broadclyst as they beat NEWTOWN 5-2. Sam Farmer, Joe Dixon and Jake Netherway notched the HONITON TOWN goals as they bettered CLYST VALLEY 3-0.

EXMOUTH AMATEURS are top of Division One again after a narrow 1-0 win at home to TIPTON ST JOHN. The only goal early in the second half came from a cross come shot from Simon Withers. EXETER CIVIL SERVICE beat CHAGFORD 3-2 and climb out of the relegation zone. Danny Tyrell, Jason Jordan and Ashley Mcdermid were the Civil scorers. Adam Pigeon and Robbie Miller kept the moormen in touch. Three goals in the closing twelve minutes gave leaders TIVERTON TOWN a 4-2 victory at BROADCLYST, the only game played in Division Two. The home side looked set after taking a 2-1 lead through Pete Eveleigh and a Justin Yelsali penalty, but the yellows had the last word. Ed Plackett 2, Joe Packer-Byrne and Jesse Howe scored for Tivvy. LYMPSTONE produced the result of the day by shattering Division Three leaders DAWLISH UNITED 6-0. Jamie Alford and Mark Dunne both scored twice, Ben Canning and Josh Hill completing a superb day. WINKLEIGH won the basement clash against AXMINSTER TOWN 7-1, but the tigers played well and were only 2-1 down at the break. NEWTON ST CYRES leapt into second place in Division Four after they won 3-2 at COUNTESS WEAR DYNAMOES. Adam Kefford, Ross Brealy and Ashley Hudd were the Cyres scorers. EXMOUTH AMATUERS won 2-1 at KENTISBEARE with a late decider just after Arge Hugo had brought the home side back to 1-1.

The weather took its toll on the fixtures with just seven matches being played in Senior and Intermediate. Division One Culm United have been temporarily staging their home matches this season at Kentisbeare, where the ground is rarely waterlogged, but the Ashill side promptly cursed their luck as they hosted the only game played and duly lost 4-0 to Heavitree Social United. The Heavies also put together a really good effort with goals from Chris Dunn, Jason Ronchetti, Richard Phillips and a Shawn King penalty. Broadclyst who also have a waterproof ground shared a 1-1 draw in Division Town against the University. The aptly names Jimmy Frost gave Broadclyst a first half lead but the college grabbed a point with a Luke Shears free kick. Seaton Town beat Whipton & Pinhoe 3-2 after getting a squeaky injury time winner from Richard Challis whose free kick went through the goalkeepers arms. Earlier Seaton led 2-1 from Tom Vincent and Ben Vine goals, but the Whips were level from a delightful Dan Western goal and a Clay Grimes strike. Whipton also had a player sent off but were set for a draw until that fateful setpiece undid their hard work.
All four Devon County cup ties involving Devon & Exeter League sides were postponed and have been re-arranged for Saturday January 7th. The ties are: Graddon Vending Premier cup 4th Round: Newtown v Bere Alston Firewatch Devon Senior Cup: Elmore v Plymouth University, Wrey Arms v Okehampton Argyle Devon Intermediate Cup: Chulmleigh v Barnstaple (this tie is on 31 dec)

Uplowman stole the glory to reach the quarter finals of the Firewatch Devon Senior cup by beating Topsham 4-1. A Jordan Copp hat-trick and Dan Smith scored the Uplowman goals. Cullompton went through also after beating Sidbury 4-2 on penalties, having drawn 1-1 in regular time. Ross Chatwood was the Sidbury scorer. Okehampton and Elmore will now get home advantage after their ties at the Wrey Arms and Plymouth University were rained off again.
The top game in Division One between the Phoenix Club and Exmouth Amateurs finished 1-1. Craig Higham gave Ammies the lead but Rian Antat equalised. Feniton won 1-0 at Civil Service, Charlie Selley scoring, but the Exwick side deserved a point. Tipton slipped up 3-0 at Wellington, and Heavitree SC won by the same margin at home to Chagford. Steve Matthews 2 and Scott Jones scored for Heavitree. The University won 5-0 against Beacon Knights with Myles Bleckenworth 2, Dan Whittington, Tom Male and Tom James scoring.

Chris Hooker, Mark Dunne and Anton Hyde were the Lympstone scorers in their 3-2 victory against Offwell. Mike Drake led the scoring for North Tawton as they routed Sandford 8-0. Richard Keast bagged a pair. Harley Cann and Phil Evans both scored twice for South Zeal who saw off Winkleigh 5-0. Darren Gilbert also scored.
After leading with two Rob Parsley penalties Newton St Cyres conceded twice to draw 2-2 with Countess Wear in Division Four. Star man Aaron Libretto and Wayne Roberts scored for the Dynamoes. Leaders Dolphin hit top form to shatter Exmouth Amateurs 8-0. Ben Murby 4, Tariq El-Zahri 2, Gent and Lyneley had the Dolphin goals. Ten man Kentisbeare shocked second place Crediton 2-1, Phil Owen and Billy Hugo scoring. The University won 4-0 against Bampton with Mubin Shah, Ali Cullen, Tom Jones and Joe Trigg scoring.

Bow are through to the Firewatch Devon Senior cup quarter finals after sinking Heavitree 5-0. Lloyd Copp 2 Louis Kinch, Mark Leach and Ollie Bedford were the scorers, but four ties were rained off, and will be restaged this saturday.
Division 1 leaders Phoenix left it late to grab a 1-0 win at unlucky Beacon Knights, John Holding the scorer, and second place Exmouth Amateurs also won 1-0 against Wellington with Mitchell Cudd getting their goal. Feniton routed Civil Service 6-2 with an Andy Hawkins hat-trick and Paul Dowling brace, while Tipton scored twice in last ten minutes to beat the University 2-1. Glen Salter and Jamie Connett had Tiptons goals. Culm won 4-3 against Witheridge after being two down at the break. Paul Harris, Paul Orchard, Luke Robinson and Adam Pengelly scored. Ryan Greenwood 2 and Phil Dart replied for Withy.
Greg Channing had both Chard goals in 2-0 win at Sidmouth in Division Two. The University won 3-2 against Halwill with goals from Harry Coombe, Freddie Bell and a Dan Conant penalty.
Tedburn shocked Division Three leaders Bickleigh 5-1 with Lee Moore 2, Lee Goode, James Mills and Sam Reeve scoring. Colaton Raleigh share top spot after a 3-0 win at Axminster. Tony Cox, Neil Blake and Riki Pitter scored.
Division Four leaders Dolphin were rocked by a 2-1 defeat at home to Newton St Cyres. Mark Harris and Matt Yendall were Cyres scorers. Sean Windows notched a treble for Thorverton 5-3 winners against Sidbury, Liam Vanstone and Luke Osmond also scoring. Two Aaron Land goals and Ben Gauntlett saw Countess WD beat Kentisbeare 3-0. Kents Liam Bryden suffered a broken leg.
